TEAM FUTURE The World’s Youngest Skydiving Team! Justin and Kayla Tinucci are great friends, making them perfect teammates for their skydiving team, Team Future! Aged 9 and 11, Justin and Kayla are not only the youngest free fliers in the world, they are classified with the most elite in any age category! Team Future flew into existence in 2006, when the kids wanted to try out the new wind tunnel near their house, and as Justin will tell you, from the first flight, both were “hooked” and “wanted to go again and again and again.” Since their first flight, Justin and Kayla have been able to rapidly develop their skydiving and freefall skills. Each minute of tunnel time is equivalent to approximately one jump from an airplane, thus Team Future has the equivalent skill of someone who has thousands of skydiving jumps and can execute the most difficult free flying maneuvers, such as “heads down,” back flips, front flips, and cartwheels. The kids practice several times a week for freefly competitions and demos all over the world. Neither is able to actually skydive yet, because Dropzones in the United States require jumpers to be 18 years old, but the kids are trying to get their parents to take them to New Zealand where they would be able to tandem jump at their age. The goal of Team Future is to help gain recognition for skydiving, for young flyers, and to encourage other kids to try it out. Go Fast is proud to sponsor Team Future in all its endeavors. Justin and Kayla fully embody the Go Fast lifestyle, even in their young age; they are true to their passion and sport, and their success and flying finess are representative to their dedication. Team Future hopes to help this sport grow and gain more attention over the coming years. The kids hope to prove that they can fly just as well as adults, even through they can’t jump from airplanes, even though they don’t have a bedtime and aren’t old enough to drink Go Fast Energy Drink just yet. |
